Using the TweetDeck Translate Feature ~ Video

"TweetDeck is an Adobe AIR desktop application for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and MySpace. Like other Twitter applications, it interfaces with the Twitter API to allow users to send and receive tweets and view profiles. It is the most popular Twitter application, following only the official Twitter.com website for posting new status updates. It is compatible with several operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. An iPhone version was released in June 2009."  ~ Wikipedia about TweetDeck

One of the great features of TweetDeck is that you can tweet with your international Tweeple/Followers in their native language by using the 'translate' feature. The following video demonstrates how to use the 'translate' feature.  I learned of this video from one of my Tweeps, @RobLear at Advanced Social Media Strategies. So, "Thank-you, Rob!" for sharing this informative video.

After viewing and listening to this video, I opened TweetDeck (version 0.32.5) on my computer desktop, sized my TweetDeck and Rob's blog page to half the monitor screen size so I could view both, side by side. Then, I played Rob's video and followed along with his instructions, and the 'translate' feature works just as he describes! Now, I can say that the 'translate' feature is one more feature to love about TweetDeck!
